Exciting news! Darling Green Country Estate is partnering with Sustainable Power Solutions (SPS) and TouchPoint Energy to develop a pioneering 6MW solar energy project in Darling, South Africa. This initiative, the first of its kind in the country, aims to reduce reliance on traditional energy sources significantly, combat load-shedding issues, and promote environmental sustainability. The project, set to be completed in two phases, will include a 1MW solar plant for the estate and Swartland Municipality, and a 5MW solar farm connected to the Eskom grid, benefiting the local community and the environment.
