At Darling Green Country Estate, growth is part of our story – and not just in terms of beautiful homes, landscaped gardens, and future-forward infrastructure. As the estate continues to evolve, so too does our dedicated team, bringing together passionate individuals who are committed to making Darling Green Country Estate a truly special place to live. Every member of our team plays an essential role in creating the sense of community, care, and excellence that residents experience from the moment they arrive. We’re excited to introduce some of the wonderful people who help shape the heartbeat of our estate – and who are always here to ensure that you feel right at home.
Kyle McMaster – Utilities & IT Manager
Kyle McMaster joined the team in February 2025, stepping into the exciting role of Utilities and IT Manager. Originally from Cape Town, Kyle recently completed his BCom degree at Eduvos and brings with him over six years of business and management experience, which he gained from being self-employed while studying.
Kyle’s day-to-day involves handling resident queries related to electricity, water, sewage, security, and fibre services, while also overseeing operational projects like smart metering, access control, and CCTV systems. With a strong focus on structure and problem-solving, Kyle enjoys being at the centre of how everything connects – helping to build the estate’s future-proof infrastructure.
One of his standout moments so far has been the launch of the estate’s 1 MW solar farm – a major step in our commitment to sustainability. When Kyle’s not troubleshooting systems or coordinating with service providers, you might find him enjoying a strong cup of coffee or grabbing a bite from the local Darling Spar.
Kyle’s message to new residents: “You’re moving into something with much thought behind it. The estate is constantly evolving, and there’s a strong focus on getting things right, from utilities to security and beyond. Feel free to reach out if you ever need assistance on the tech or utility side!”
Kirsten M’Crystal – Admin Assistant
Kirsten Tayla M’Crystal brings her energy and heart to the role of Admin Assistant, joining the Darling Green Country Estate team in January 2025. Originally from Johannesburg, Kirsten relocated with her parents to Darling in October 2024. Before joining the estate, she dedicated 12 years as an Advanced Life Support paramedic for Netcare 911.
Now, Kirsten assists residents with homeowner queries, LTE Wi-Fi applications (until fibre installation is complete), pet licenses, and general administrative support. Known for her spontaneity and willingness to help wherever needed, Kirsten thrives on meeting new people and helping them settle into life at the estate. Furthermore, Kirsten is also actively involved in the Sport Club, playing a key role in its ongoing growth and improvement.
One of her favourite moments so far has been celebrating the Ribbon Cutting ceremony for the Solar Farm – a proud milestone for everyone involved. As both a team member and homeowner at Darling Green Country Estate, Kirsten cherishes the peace, beauty, and community spirit that the estate offers, from stunning sunsets to a true “farm lifestyle” atmosphere.
Her local favourites? The Darling Sports Club and Ciao Darling! And while she’s not a coffee or wine person, she’s happy to raise a beer instead!
Kirsten shares this heartfelt message: “Moving to Darling Green Country Estate is truly something special. The friends we’ve made and the family atmosphere in the office are things I’m grateful for every day. Darling Green Country Estate is a community, a place that feels like home.”
Verdalle Human – HR & Admin Manager
Verdalle Human is the powerhouse behind much of our behind-the-scenes success, serving as HR and Admin Manager (with some PA duties too!). Joining Darling Green Country Estate in March 2025, Verdalle was born and bred in Cape Town and has built her career in corporate operations.
Her role involves wearing many hats – from managing staffing matters to ensuring invoices are paid and helping the office run smoothly. In addition, Verdalle is responsible for registering new building sites, contractors, and subcontractors, and for ensuring that all administration and paperwork related to builders is kept up to date. No two days are ever the same, which is exactly what Verdalle loves most about her job. With her enthusiasm, team spirit, and passion for getting things done, she’s quickly become an integral part of the Darling Green Country Estate family.
Highlights since joining include the opening of the Solar Farm and the exciting start of the Village Post homes. When asked about the estate’s magic, Verdalle says it’s all about the people – their passion, respect, accountability, and unwavering drive to make Darling Green Country Estate the best it can be.
Off-duty, you might find her sampling the carrot cupcakes at Swesie’s Deli, gaming, reading, or planning her next travel adventure – always with a good cup of coffee in hand.
Verdalle’s warm welcome to future residents: “If your heart longs for a place where nature and community come together in perfect harmony, then Darling Green Country Estate is the place for you. Here, you don’t just live, you belong.”
At Darling Green Country Estate, our team is more than just staff – we’re neighbours, friends, and champions for a shared vision of an extraordinary lifestyle. We are proud to grow alongside the estate, and we look forward to welcoming even more wonderful residents into our ever-expanding community. Stay tuned for more team introductions as we continue building something truly special, together.
